The collection of female variations on CD consists of 3 parts (3 CDs sold separately), each CD contains 40 solos. Altogether, this represents 120 separate variations taken from the classical ballet repertoire, including all solo performances at the Grand Prix Youth America, Prix de Lausanne, International Ballet Competition and other major ballet competitions.
These recordings are prefect for teaching variations to students and for students or professionals who wish to practice a specific variation. The Ladies' Variations collection is the ideal resource for ballet schools, making teaching and performing solo variations easy and simple - both indoor and outdoor ballet competitions can be held safe in the knowledge that all the music required has been found in the right tempo and perfect quality.
Each piece has been tempo-tuned in collaboration with a group of former professional soloists from the world's leading ballet companies, including the Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Frankfurt Ballet and Dresden Semperoper. This ensures that the music is at a good tempo for the performance.
